What else can Canadian MR be transferred to? Anything with a bonus? I will soon have over 130k BA so not sure if makes sense to transfer.
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

It seems Canadian MR has mush fewer partners than the US program. Only...
Air Canada, 1,000 points: 1,000 miles
Alitalia: 1,000 points: 750 miles
British Airways: 1,000 points: 1,000 Avios
Asia Miles: 1,000 points: 750 miles
Delta: 1,000 points: 750 miles

Right now there is promo of 50% bonus to BA. Is there any reason I would rather tranfer to the other partners? I'm askink just because I have a nice collection already of Avios. Thanks!

air canada points/aeroplan are worth transferring to for those airline partners that they don't charge surcharges for(as opposed to BA that always charges international except for air berlin) see here http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=1592.0

Anyone here have the Amex plat?

I was wondering the same.
I got an email offer from Amex to upgrade my personal PRG to Platinum and get 25k MR for $1k spend in 3 months.
Anyone else get this? Is it worth it? TIA

I don't think the Canadian one has the 12.month bonus terms. (does anyone know for sure?)
And besides if they both don't waive AF isn't 35,000 amex worth the pull? (unless you can apply for the upgrade and than cancel and reapply for the 60,000).
