Anyone know how much time you have to cancel Canadian Amex gold once the AF hits?

Generally up until the due date of the statement that contains the AF but YMMV. A quick secure message to them should do the job.

I got my 25k bonusafter reaching $500 amex gold card and transferred them, then I returned something a few weeks later bringing me just below $500, as a result that set my point balance to -10,000. whats the deal???

Same here, only I didn't transfer out and left with 15,000.
Maybe it's 15k for first purchase and ten for spend.

If you respend the money to take you over $500 you should get those points back.

Flyettalk thread seems to say you can. I want to see what people have had experience wise here.

SIN is not mandatory on canadian cc apps its optional they pull credit by name etc.

You're right...I noticed that when I applied for one for the fun of it ....I Dont live in Canada and they approved me for $1000 without any ID
