updated the wiki to add RBC Avion - you can easily get them to give you FYF by calling. they have bi-annual BA 50% promo so fyf + 22.5k... not horrible for canada, aside from amex.

I assume you mean the Aventura (CIBC). I have it. I would not recommend it. Hard to get more then 1cpp which is very low. Best value I got was on a flight to Israel (1.5cpp), if you already have points and want tips on redeeming you can shoot me a PM, if you are just considering it I would certainly look elsewhere. CIBC has no lucrative cards really.

Anyone know the best MasterCard in Canada? Between No Frills and Costco, I spen a lot of $ on MasterCard. I have the PC points card but it is a terrible experience

Even with its devaluation I think that the Capital One Aspire Travel World Elite Mastecard is still #1 in Canada:
http://www.capitalone.ca/credit-cards/aspire-travel-world-elite/

Effective 2% cash back towards travel... Except there is a workaround to redeem for actual cashback. PM for details.

Cap 1 pulls from both bureaus and requires that you haven't applied for any cards within 3 months.

If you have a use for Alaska miles, however, you can consider the MBNA Alaska card.

Regarding the cards that require a minimum annual income, can you just write whatever you wish or they can see your income or it can have some other problems?

RBC BA card now offers 30k Avios - 15k upon enrollment, another 15k after $5k spend within 2 months. $165 AF. Offer ends June 30.

Last time this came around the same time as the 50% Avion:Avios bonus. Hoping to see it June 1st.

RBC's website still shows the 15k offer, but you can get the 30k from BA's website:
http://www.britishairways.com/en-ca/executive-club/collecting-avios/credit-cards

Might be a good time to product switch.
