Do canadian SPG points transfer for the same value as the US SPG to marriott?

Also, does the canadian version have the 20,000 airline transfer 5,000 bonus?

Thanks.

I had vaguely recalled reading sometime in the past that the value may be less in canada. Perhaps it was for a different program.

This is bad news. I used this card a lot.

What options are left now for forex free cards?

It is official now that marriot are closing as well.

Is it better to close the chase amazon card by myself or wait for them to close it? which is better for my credit score?

There have been some really good offers on Cobalt lately... 50 off 50 at Pearson duty  free... 75 off 200 cars and hotels booked through amex....
There was also 10x at groceries in December. It's worth paying attention to their emails...

One major downside of the rogers card is if you are doing a refund of a foreign transaction you loose the cashback but still pay the fee

The annual fee increased to $499.00 and the bonus points decreased to only 40,000. The minimum spend remained at $5,000 in three months.

Sadly, every good deal in Canada comes to an end.

Bonus is still $75K from what I can see.
Insane that a card with $499 fee still has foreign exchange fee
