Cross-posting this for Canadians here:

PSA for the few Canadians here: AC seems to be getting serious about cracking down on Canadian churners.

The Canadian AC cards from TD and CIBC have always been pretty churnable, but they added T&Cs about churning a couple years ago. At the time they only cracked down on very heavy churners, but it seems like they've don a big round of clawbacks in the past few days. Tons of DPs on r/ChurningCanada.

I had 10k clawed back a couple days ago, and another 10k today. IYH that's it. Not complaining as I've churned many many times that amount.

End of an era for Canadian churning- these were always easy ones, and sometimes with pretty generous WBs for not much spend. This might sound shocking to Americans, but some of our banks even still award WBs ton PSs, so you could literally flip back and forth between an AC card and another product and very often get WBs. People doing it every few months got shut down, but an annual PS on each credit line never raised any eyebrows.

In case anyone here has a Canadian TD Aeroplan credit card:

https://www.tdaeroplancontest.td.com/

- One grand prize of 10,000,000 Aeroplan points
- 10 second prizes of 1,000,000 Aeroplan points each
- 25 third prizes of 100,000 Aeroplan points each
- 500 fourth prizes of 10,000 Aeroplan points each
- 2,500 fifth prizes of 1,000 Aeroplan points
- 282,043 sixth prizes of 100 Aeroplan points each!

Idk if there are tax implications, but they're valuing 10m Aeroplan @ 300k CAD, or .03 CAD/point.
