Recent DP's say that they're telling ppl that if they apply for either Biz Plat or Biz Gold within 3 months of getting the other, but that waiting exactly months can get auto-approved. HUCA though, it can't hurt.

Did you get your Biz Plat less than 3 months ago?

I got my Biz Plat Oct. 9 and applies for the Biz Gold on Oct. 6 just shy of 3 months. :( I spoke to another rep, he said again I can't have both. He claimed its a new policy as of 2018

If you fly WestJet I would recommend the RBC WestJet WE MC. Besides the regular earning of 1.5% back on WestJet, it gives you free luggage on all WestJet flights, plus a voucher that can save you hundreds of dollars on long distance trips.

Amex Cobalt is live

The MR from This card can’t be transferred to airlines. I am wondering if I have a platinum or gold card if the MR is pooled, allowing the points to be transferred to airlines. Similar to the RBC Rewards program that allowes you to transfer all your RBC Rewards to AA or BA as long as you have an Avion card.
I just got the card. T&C specifically limit Cobalt from airline transfer partners.

I didn't realize this before I applied for the Cobalt, I think it's worthless....

Amex fixed points program gives a value of 2cpp. And even Marriott, at 5:6 is great considering the 5 point per dollar earn rate.
How many credit cards let you earn 2.5 airline miles per Canadian dollar?
Not to mention that you can easily get better then 2cpp value on Marriott...

$1 spend at grocery = 5 cobalt. Transfer to Marriott at 5:6 . Transfer to wherever you want 60:25 (60:27 United) = 2.5 airline miles  per dollar spent
