I wouldn't vote for him but I do feel somewhat proud that my state has produced a presidential candidate. Also I feel like it would be more fun to go for and follow him, rather than some other candidate since he's polling so bad now, but he definitely has plenty political talent and could potentially make a comeback.

Honestly, even if that actually happened as alleged (which I doubt), it is making a mountain out of a molehill. And you've got your facts wrong - the bridge didn't close, it was just an entrance lane from Fort Lee that was closed. Those poor suckers had to drive 2 blocks back and sit in traffic with everyone else instead of using their local street entrance to their own group of tollbooths (the 3 to the right).

Do I think it's corrupt if it's true? Yes. Is it as corrupt as the stuff NJ is famous for? Not even close. Corzine and his cronies had more corruption in their left pinkie toe.

The worst thing I can remember Christie doing was using police helicopter to go to personal events, and he ended up paying back the state for the cost. Can you imagine Obama paying for personal use of government resources? Or even the media making a big deal about him doing so? People want to make Christie look bad, and they're digging deep. That's why they keep coming back to his weight.

Christie is not presidential material. But he does not seem to be your typical politician and he does not seem to be corrupt. Think of him as similar to Bloomberg, just a guy with a lot of money and good leadership skills. That only goes so far though.

I believe that everyone agrees that he himself had nothing to do with it. (The same way Obama had nothing to do with the IRS targeting scandal.) One of his staff members conspired with a Port Authority official.

The term "presidential material" has been extinct ever since a community organizer with no experience became president in 2008. Christie, by contrast, has excellent financial experience and actually has a spine. The ONLY problem with Christie is his weight. I believe if he loses 150-200 pounds he has a very good chance.

I don't agree with that. The term didn't become extinct, it was ignored for one specific individual for very obvious reasons.

If you think it's extinct, then Trump should have a chance. And bring back Herman Cain too.

My point is that it can no longer be said that "this guy has no chance" after what happened in 2008. Clearly the American people can be influenced to vote for just about anyone.

There are only three elements that I am aware of:

1. Must have written a biography.
2. Must support Israel (In words, not in action).
3. Must have nice teeth and hair.
