the option to transfer points to BA doesnt show up in my account. i call AMEX and they said it only works for AMEX charge which charge an annual fee.

i dont pay a fee for my AMEX cards.

does anyone know how to transfer my points to BA?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have a blue as well as a plat business one. i dont pay a fee for either of them.
i also have a starwood card, but will it give me +40% transfer (+25%)

Same reason why he can't transfer his points to miles, it's not a real Plat charge card. Probably just a regular free "Platinum" credit card.

Just sign up for the real Plat charge card and you'll be able to transfer all your points into miles.

You gotta be pretty fast to apply today, get the card today, spend the minimum today, have the points post today and transfer the points by tomorrow before the BA promo is over

not what i meant i meant apply today hopefully get instant approval so he can transfer his other points with the 40% bonus

Is having to cancel within 60-90 days any worse than having to cancel in a year?
Same hard pull and canceled card with no lost credit line either way.

i guess i should know by now not to argue with dan. on a separate note should i be worried i did three browser method Thursday for the gold/plat/spg and i still have no answer on the spg?

Sorry but I'll dare disagree, the longer you wait to cancel the more good history you have on your account - which raises your score. If your score is good anyway, then you might not need that.

he can apply and get instant approval and then either transfer his other points or borrow points

Even with instant approval it takes some time until you have an MR account.
