Sorry if this is talked about elsewhere, I searched and could not find.
Anyone know how to get an Israeli student visa for my wife in America? I tried calling the consulate about 50 times, Noone answers the phones.

They are a bunch of jerks. No decent hours. Just a few workers to sit around, feet high up in the air, make money and do less than nothing. I had to notarize some Israeli documents a while back and had to keep coming back to Manhattan cuz they were closed, closed, closed. I think they close on every possible holiday, like Israeli, American and Arabic (more machmir than the pope himself). They are probably closed now for the entire Ramadan Holiday...  ;)

The only thing they can boast about is their level of security. Just try getting in there with a tuna sandwich or a drink bottle...  ::)
