is alaska mileage worth more or does it "cost" more than other mileage?
i'm finding a flight from dc-lax on alaska air for 20,000 one way in coach class.
is that the same value as like on American Airlines for example?

i haven't used alaska points before.

Alaska mileage has a higher value than American due to the fact that American miles #Suck after the recent devaluation.

Now that Alaska has bought Virgin america and virgin atlantic no longer offers reward redemption on virgin america, what is the best way to get a virgin america miles ticket?
