Am I the first DDf'er to go to Antarctica? TR

Took a 3 day cruise there, this past week, via the Drake Passage from Ushuaia, Argentina (The Southern most city in the world).

Went to King George Island, then flew back to Punta Arenas, Chile.

The cruise was not very pleasant, due to notoriously rough waters.

The Final Continent, My 7th, was amazing and felt like a different planet.

LATAM: LAX-SCL-EZE-USH ARNK PUQ-SCL-LAX $850R/T

Pretty busy and heading to Havana tomorrow, but will post pics when I get a chance.

Also I the ship offers a 'plunge' in the Arctic water, which I did. Very exhilarating!!

It never really got dark at all. Just a bit darker between midnight and 4am.
