Just got back from one of my runs. DW decorated the front lawn landscape with about twenty flags. We have our main flag up in the front 24/7 and the one in the back on a 20 ft flagpole in the summer.

Flag masts are hard to keep on top of. They have rules on how to fly. Its a crime to fly the flag at full mast on veterans day for example.

The Gerrer shtibel in Lakewood at least used to fly one all year. At one point the pole came down and I can't remember if it was put back up even though I am on that block almost daily.

BTW the reason you'll always see the US flag with the Israeli flag is because it's illegal to fly a foreign flag without flying the US flag next to it. פוק חזי

Didn't know that but I never flew a foreign flag.

Correct. And the US flag must be higher than any other flag. This even applies to state flags. Go look.
