Target is combining two offers that give great savings on their diapers which are already on sale price.
The giant diaper pack which normally sells for $28.99 is on sale for $24.99.
Offer #1) buy 2 packs and get $10 gift card, which is like getting $5 off each pack. You can buy as many as you want and you'll get get a $10 gc for every 2.
Offer #2) spend $125 get $20 gift card, or better yet spend $200 get $40 gift card (20% off). So thats another $5 off each pack (if you get 8 packs, plus a filler item because your ¢8 short of $200).
So its like paying $15 per pack, plus 5% off from redcard.

Could be it is their best offer on the other major brands of diapers that they are running similar promotions on, but I'm not acquainted with the usual prices etc.
So maybe someone else can enlighten on that.

I don't think you can get both offers. I added 8 boxes of diapers and your filler item and they gave me 5 gc $10 each. So I guess that's the most. (and that was the same as before I added the filler item.

If you can do both offers, then it's deffinetly one of the best offers ever ran. This can also be used on pampers diapers with a $15 gift card per 2 boxes.

It should give you 5 gc.
4 are for $10 each and one is for $40.

ETA it's not tax on diapers rather on the gift cards... Very strange. Anyone else have the same thing?

I had the estimated tax show also, but the final charge did not have tax (I did store pickup)

as far as a filler, gerber baby food jar for $0.64

IIRC baby food is excluded. I did store pickup here as well charge showed up on final order confirmation. Plus, as they shipped the gift cards they added $0.60 tax to each $10, weird...

It's also not an even 7% (standard New Jersey tax). Maybe it's a new "whoops we botched up and gave you a better deal than we planned" tax?

oh, I do see I was charged $1.80 tax (in NJ). it has to be from the gift cards because the receipt I got emailed with all of the actual items shows $0 tax. not sure what calculation they have there???
