Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer, David O’Brien said:“Ryanair is pleased to announce our entry into the Israeli market from November 2015, our 31st country, with three new Eilat Ovda routes to Budapest, Kaunas and Krakow, which will deliver 40,000 customers annually. We are continuing to negotiate with the Israeli authorities and we look forward to growing our Israeli route network in the future. To celebrate our 3 new Eilat Ovda routes we are releasing seats on sale from just €29.99for travel in November and December which are available for booking from tomorrow, Wednesday 8 July until midnight Friday (10 July).
I don't get why anybody would fly to Eilat for a vacation, there's way better resort area's in the Mediterranean, also Ovda is a good hour away from Eilat
Ovda is a good hour away from Eilat
It's not ETH? There are 2 airports down there - who knew?
its VDA, ETH is domestic onlythis can be usefull for a bucher to get himself a cheap ticket to israel, rent a car in Ovda & drive 2.5 hours to Jerusalem
So 2 stops from NYC to get to VDA and then a 2.5 hour car ride to Yerushalayim? Sheesh. One has really got to think about the value of their time before jumping on a "cheap ticket".
looking forward to the kovna flight
Not all Jews live in NYC.
Which is why I said NYC. If I just said "So 2 stops plus a 2.5 hour ride to get to Yerushalayim" you would have jumped on me for assuming everyone lives in NYC. Clearly, I got jumped either way.
LOL The flights are going to be half Eurotrash and the other half Chareidim going to visit kevorim. No direct flights to Kovno or Krakow from TLV
Ryan Air IMO is way worse than spirit.. Had to keep my headphones on the whole time when I went with them because they were busy raffling off some kind of scratch off... I think everyone got a "tizke limitzvos"they dont even give trays in the back of the seats
I flew Ryanair MAN-BRU (well, not really BRU, some weird little airport an hour south of BRU). I gotta tell you, it was not THAT terrible. I was prepared for terrible treatment. For me, the worst part of the flight (seriously) was having to see the garish bright yellow plastic that covers every surface on the inside of the cabin.
