Lots of credit unions have the no fee 0% BT and 0% promo offers.  You just need to find them.  I don't carry balances at all, so I can't name a lot of them off the top of my head, but I see them frequently.

Keep in mind that you will spook your creditors if you get several new cards and suddenly max out the credit lines, and they may take adverse action against you by either lowering limits or closing accounts.  This is even for accounts and creditors that you have without a balance.

Don't let any card report 90%+ utilization, and it is wise to keep it below 70% (the next FICO utilization bracket).  Below 50% is even better to avoid AA.

Hypothetically, how long would it take someone to climb out of the >90% bracket if you went directly from >90% on a few cards to 0% on everything, and started doing the $2 trick as well?
What about the >70% bracket?

Forget about scoring buckets. Once it reports at 90% it will be on your reports for a month. All it takes is 1 AR by a creditor to freak out over a maxed out high limit card to start the AA snowball.

I'm not saying it will happen, the the risk is pretty high in this example.

AR?

Which banks are likely to AA if I were to suddenly go >90% on most of my cards, while still making payments on time?

Also, I'm curious about the answer to the question I asked? How long would it take to recover if the report suddenly went to %0 util, with the $2 trick as well?

It's a relatively thin file, with no derogatory info at all, and a combined limit of >$100k.

A single maxed out CC with a thin file is going to crash your scores.

AR is an account review soft inquiry.

It can potentially take a few months to be moved back to your original scoring bucket or it could be immediate.  There is no way to be sure.

A lot of creditors have AA stories.  I'm sure you'll find all of the major players if you Google.

Maxing out a business card will also trigger an AR?
