Topic Wiki

Amex is usually very accomodating with giving the credits.

When you choose to pay with Amex Express Checkout, you will be prompted for your User ID and Password. You need to enter the same User ID and Password that you use to log in to the americanexpress.com web site. If your card can't be managed via the americanexpress.com web site, you can't use that card to pay via Amex Express Checkout. Therefore, only credit and charge cards issued by American Express can be used. Bluebird, Serve, Target Prepaid RedCard, American Express for Target, other prepaid Amex cards, Amex cards issued by other banks such as USAA, PenFed, Bank of America, Citi, etc. can't be used with Amex Express Checkout.

1) $10 credit will apply for any purchase off the approved vendor list. $0.01 minimum purchase.
2) Main cards & AU's are eligible.
3) Same login is OK to reuse
4) If a card (from the login you're in)doesn't show up during Amex checkout, maximize the checkout window and scroll down.
5) You can add your AU cards to 1 login or you can make a login for themselves (to save future offers?)
6) $10 Credit will show up after a few days
7) Smile & thank Amex

 8) add more au's, rinse and repeat!

Deadline: 9/7/15

No need to register for the offer. You do need to be registered with a user name and password for the website which you will use to login to Amex Express Checkout.

I had 4 cards under one login, so I bought 2 copies of one of the 3 $.49 downloads. I got email from Newegg that it was cancelled. Seems like the lowering the limit within 48 hours.

I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Their loss.

if they were smart, they would at least make a $10 one. people would buy it with a few cc's to buy some overpriced useless junk.
i understand why they dont want people ordering 10.01 and paying with a gc

It's quite possible that they will cancel all who used gift cards to purchase gift cards.

I highly doubt that. I bought a gift card (which ended up having no credit on) with a gift card in the beginning of last week, and even got a replacement code for the non working one as late as Friday.

Anyone received credits from multiple merchants on same card?
Amex didn't enforce the "per online account" T&C, so I'm worried they aren't honoring "per merchant" either.

I had a bunch of charges post, but only some credits. Hope it all settles up soon without having to ask for manual credit. That can be a pain.
