Topic Wiki

Amex is usually very accomodating with giving the credits.

When you choose to pay with Amex Express Checkout, you will be prompted for your User ID and Password. You need to enter the same User ID and Password that you use to log in to the americanexpress.com web site. If your card can't be managed via the americanexpress.com web site, you can't use that card to pay via Amex Express Checkout. Therefore, only credit and charge cards issued by American Express can be used. Bluebird, Serve, Target Prepaid RedCard, American Express for Target, other prepaid Amex cards, Amex cards issued by other banks such as USAA, PenFed, Bank of America, Citi, etc. can't be used with Amex Express Checkout.

1) $10 credit will apply for any purchase off the approved vendor list. $0.01 minimum purchase.
2) Main cards & AU's are eligible.
3) Same login is OK to reuse
4) If a card (from the login you're in)doesn't show up during Amex checkout, maximize the checkout window and scroll down.
5) You can add your AU cards to 1 login or you can make a login for themselves (to save future offers?)
6) $10 Credit will show up after a few days
7) Smile & thank Amex

 8) add more au's, rinse and repeat!

Deadline: 9/7/15

Nogo on dupe credits for the exact same card fromt he same store.

What does this mean? Does it mean that the newegg orders that were originally cancelled by the seller and fell off from pending, those cards can't be used again at newegg to get the credit?

I was about to go and try them all again...... Waiting for response before I go and do it.

no. it means once a card gets a credit statement from Amex from a certain store, they cannot get it again from that same store on that same card.

Save $10 from every merchant that offers AMEX Express Checkout.
Really? So why are we focusing on these few pathetic retailers? Are they the only ones who use Amex Checkout? Is it possible that Dan made a mistake? :o

Applicable to only the few selected merchants in dans post. The ones being focused on are the ones where money can be earned. However, any merchants mentioned in the post will get you a $10 credit

Now I'm even more confused. The link you sent mentions other merchants that take Amex EC (i.e. Gap), but mentions the $10 credit only for select merchants. So why does Dan write that it applies to every merchant that accepts Amex EC? Unless (as I suggested) there are no other merchants that accept Amex EC at this time (Gap is in the future). Is this correct?

Thanks. :D
In any event, the t&c sound like it would not apply to any others, as it specifically lists these merchants, which takes me back to my original question...
