Amex is usually very accomodating with giving the credits.

When you choose to pay with Amex Express Checkout, you will be prompted for your User ID and Password. You need to enter the same User ID and Password that you use to log in to the americanexpress.com web site. If your card can't be managed via the americanexpress.com web site, you can't use that card to pay via Amex Express Checkout. Therefore, only credit and charge cards issued by American Express can be used. Bluebird, Serve, Target Prepaid RedCard, American Express for Target, other prepaid Amex cards, Amex cards issued by other banks such as USAA, PenFed, Bank of America, Citi, etc. can't be used with Amex Express Checkout.

1) $10 credit will apply for any purchase off the approved vendor list. $0.01 minimum purchase.
2) Main cards & AU's are eligible.
3) Same login is OK to reuse
4) If a card (from the login you're in)doesn't show up during Amex checkout, maximize the checkout window and scroll down.
5) You can add your AU cards to 1 login or you can make a login for themselves (to save future offers?)
6) $10 Credit will show up after a few days
7) Smile & thank Amex

 8) add more au's, rinse and repeat!

Deadline: 9/7/15

I just did one last night... I think too many people requesting for the all their gc be combined into one big sum.
I ordered a $10 gift card from Sabon this morning and then used it to pay for half of a $20 card. No need for me to contact them to combine anything. Part of the post is crossed out probably only because you can't buy $11 gift cards anymore, not because you can't buy gift cards with gift cards.

FYI everyone... (this was mentioned upthread I believe but) I confirmed with Sabon... Anyone who was charged tax on giftcards should contact them and they WILL get a refund. They told me it was a glitch. So let the emails begin... Include your order number.
If your credit card was only charged for tax [for example if you paid the rest with gift card(s)], you probably don't want to contact them.

So then that's a good work around even though they are out of $10 gc?

The game codes have certain limits on how many you can buy in a 48 hour window. Exceed the limit and your order gets cancelled
What is the limit?  Also what about opening a new acct?

That could be it. I ordered 8 codes two nights ago, but just got one or two of each 49 cent code.

Anyone had the error message from Newegg where it says your state and zip code information is mismatching and so they can't process the order via Express Checkout?  I've double checked my card, and the address is correct.

Is this a good idea for someone who doesn't have Amex cards (or used them all up already), just to get the NE $10 GC? Are you essentially getting a $10 GC for $3? 70% discount sounds pretty good. I'm not sure if I have the math right.

since the $10 gc are gone on Sabon I am doing the $20 gc and using a $10 gc
and charging amex the other $10.

The issue is that when I purchased the $10 gc's I received 1 point per $10 spend.
After I purchased 9 gc's, the 10th was only 1 dollar. (1 dollar per point. must spend $10 for a point)

Now, I purchased $20 gc yet it has not accumulated any points???
anyone have this? know why?

Yes, but don't forget to include the postage stamp in your calculation.

I checked my order history and 3 of the $20 gc's show completed yet it shows:
"You don't currently have any points to spend."

I asked newegg if there is anyway around the 48 hour window... This was their response..

'You may have to use a different payment method & shipping address.'
