Have you tried to do it yourself?  They give good instructions. I'm an idiot with handy stuff around the house but can easily build ikea stuff.

I know a guy that's an expert in installing toilet paper rolls-
don't know if he does IKEA furniture but he's your best shot.

Does he install them with the paper over or under?

IIRC Ikea provides delivery and assembly for $75 in Brooklyn, not sure you'll find anyone to do it for less.

Man, you guys really ragged on OP. Bunch of Jewish husbands making themselves feel like Bob Vila by making fun of a guy who has better things to do than hold sheets of particle board together while turning a hex key.

Leave OP alone. Maybe he unable physically to do it.

people can easily put it together. I've done some of those --  however people who regularly build ikea items can align the corners better and more professionally.
It makes the appearance look more real. Also, when done right, the drawers will come in and out smoother over the long term, and the whole process is quicker, too.

For people who earn $75+ an hour at work, it's preferable to pay someone $35/hr to put together the furniture. Esp if it takes the experienced person 2 hours and the furniture owner 5 hours.

I've done delivery a few times and iinm installation is more expensive $100+, but still a good deal if you have enough items.

I might have a guy, will speak to him and PM you if it pans out.

Why is someone who earns 75 an hour buying from Ikea

some stuff is decent and looks sophisticated (and sometimes in the higher price range, too), esp if you know you'll just be renting for 1-2 yrs and then buying a house, so you'll get real furniture with the new house.
the $75/hr is to save for the new house.

$150,000 a year? Sounds like a target Ikea audience.

$150,000 a year? Sounds like a target Ikea audience.
yes:

1) Sometimes you want to spend the $50,000 on rent and food that year and put the remaining $100K towards a new house
(downpayment - saves compounded interest, esp with a 15 yr loan over 30 yr loan... )

2) Sometimes you need a modern media center with specific dimensions:
    http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/departments/living_room/10475/

3) Sometimes you want to wait to commit to a $12K furniture purchase until you're married longer and can decide on long-term furniture together.

4) For others, (i.e. in CA) the $148K out of the $150K goes to rent & food ($68K), and tuition ($80K), so the remaining $2K goes to Ikea bookshelves/desks instead of a $12K unaffordable purchase...
