lost visa gift cards

i sent 2 500 dollar payments with paypal using ov gc.  the accounts got shut down (unrelated) and the transactions reversed and paypal credited the money back to the the gc which i had already thrown out. anyone have any idea how to get the gift card numbers either thru pp or thru cvs so that i can call ov and they will send new ones

You save the cards and receipts forever? Come on. OP had no way of predicting that the charges would be reversed.

Personally, if I cash out by MO, then once the deposit clears my bank account, I toss the cards and receipts. If I cash out by RC, then also once the money makes it to my bank account I toss the cards and receipts. Until that point, yes, I hold on to them, but I can't keep endless clutter in my life.

ETA: Just to clarify, in the case OP describes, yes, I would have still had the cards and receipts until the funds were OUT of Paypal's hands. But once I had the money in my bank, you can bet I am tossing the plastic and paper in the trash.

Yup. I have all receipts all cards from. Still have those famous Vanilla Reload scratch cards.

i already got the money out of pp. problem is the person who got it now has a negative balance and is getting threatened with collections etc.

Put receipt with cards and wrap a rubber band around. I was using trash bags but they broke. Now they go in boxes that cases of paper come in.

For the second question yes. CM is doing A LOT of these. And for when playing poker, they make good poker chips when you run out of real chips.

There is no way to answer that. You also have the option to scan everything so you don't need to store anything.
