Not a single one, B"H.

Once had a close call, though. Hertz bus at LAX was taking forever and got to bag drop with an endless line (this was before I thought of using a SkyCap) 50 minutes before my flight. Tried talking to a manager but he just said not to worry. Turns out that I got that same manager at the counter 40 minutes before the flight, who now said he can't check my bag and I have to take it through to have it gate-checked. Anyway, lost a nice bottle of facial wash, shampoo, and rose water when they took apart my bag at TSA (thank goodness I didn't do a booze run). Barely made it to the gate, but got the front-most seat. Too bad I had to wait for my bag at JFK for over an hour...

Missed 2. One was TLV-EWR-ORD on UA. Flight was delayed 9 hours or so, and I requested to be put on the next flight. Apparently the CSR said yes, but didn't. Being half asleep, I didn't realize until the next day, and was promptly re-accommadated by UA free of charge. The second was an AA flight MIA-ORD that DW and I slept through. We were put on standby and ended up getting on a 3pm flight after getting to the airport at 6am. Needless to say, the lounge personnel knew us by name.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

Missed a flight on UA MXP-EWR that was booked with the Wideroe glitch in 2013.
Costed me too many hours (about 8-10) with gate agent, on the phone with united and Wideroe since it was Wideroe ticket stock, till Wideroe agreed to rebook me for free.

:D

Missed one flight, LIH-HNL on erev shabbos after getting a flat on the way.

"Flat tire rule" indeed.

They say if you haven't missed a flight you haven't flown enough...

I've missed 3 so far:

- AS YEG-SEA-JFK, due to the clerk at the RV return insisting on 17 copies of everything and oblivious to the fact that I need to. leave. NOW. Ended up getting refunded by AS and booked AC YEG-YYZ-LGA instead.

- SK OSL-TRD-BOO, due to not being as big a maniac as Dan. Got put on the direct OSL-TRD instead while Dan got to add TRD and a rare 737-600 to his lists.

- AA LGA-XNA, due to missing the baggage cutoff by 2 minutes. Took the afternoon flight instead.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

This is embarrassing...

AA MIA-LGA missed flight Friday morning due to spending too much time in Centurion Lounge.
DW and myself were nr. 10 and 11 on standby list (of 16) for next flight. Long story short, we were really lucky as we were last 2 ppl to be allowed on board from standby list.

Nearly missed a flight last summer when doing a B6 run JFK-ROC with the family, arrived at the airport 40 minutes before the flight, me, my wife and 3 kids youngest was 9 months old, tried to check in a bag at the kiosk but didn't let it go (was less than 40 minutes by then) ran around to find a desk agent, line was short, she was willing to take my bag (finished checking in 30 minutes before the flight) ran to the TSA Pre line, luckily line was a lot shorter than the regular line, TSA started going thru every piece in the diaper bag to verify its content... finished TSA about 17 minutes before the flight, we ran with all the kids, I ran a little ahead arrived at the gate 14 minutes before the flight, sign already said flight closed... I handed the gate agent our boarding passed while the other family members are still schlepping from behind, and we BH made it...

Near miss at EWR last week.
TSA (the person I was with doesn't have pre-check) was longer than half an hour.
Got to the gate less than 5 min from from flight time. We were told we weren't even the last expected traveler.

- HA LIH-HNL-KOA, due to a flat tire (really :D). Went on standby for the next pair of flights and made Shabbos (two days of it) in the nick of time.
flat tire takes about 10 min. to change so that goes back to Dan's statement...

Once that I recall. EZE-GIG.

I actually missed my flight to Rio the other week when a taxi driver learned that we had called an Uber and he refused to leave the area.
Not exactly, but he made it clear that he was really pissed that we ordered an Uber and I wasn't going to leave the house into an empty street at 6AM with him ready for a fight. It's not like we were NY where I just call the cops and they come

We ended up calling a different taxi company and he actually followed us and told our taxi driver that we had ordered an Uber...
Uber was not showing any available cars at that hour. Ordered a taxi and soon after there was an Uber available. Called to cancel the taxi and they said no problem. A couple of minutes later someone knocks on the door and a family member - who's obviously unfamiliar with how Uber works - answers the door: Uber?!

- SK OSL-TRD-BOO, due to not being as big a maniac as Dan.
That's the only one I can remember.
