In your dreams.  :P

I heard that CM has the lowest post count in this group. So ask him how he got in. He prefers you send it in PM.

Mods, shouldn't this thread be merged into the UPS method thread?

What is the issue with people who are not in a "secret forum" knowing that a secret forum exists?

My guess is that the answer to your question is a secret.

But I wouldn't know.

Bad publicity for the forum.

Bad publicity for the forum.
But it also could tempt people to become more expert so that they could gain access themselves.

Why is there the assumption that "becoming more expert" will get you access?!?

What other reason would there be for restrictions?

I imagine that it's where topics can be discussed more openly, for that you would want "experts" who wouldn't kill things as fast
The only other reason to have private areas is to make it unsearchable...

As far as an expert? IMHO some sort of vouching system, there are some people on here that when they PM me or vice versa I will be way more open with then others. Yes there will be those that wouldn't make it on but you can't judge it any other way...

Why? Let's say the limit was set at a post count of 1,000 - That's some 250 odd members, since most of them are posting enough that someone from say the first 15-20 people added will know them they can be added one by one via a vouching system instead with a warning of some sort keeping the group private.

It's similar to the concept of being 6 steps away from the president ...

Well how do you decide on the first 15-20 people? And just because you know someone, doesn't mean you can vouch for them re: keeping secrets, etc.

Dan would choose them, obviously vouching for someone shouldn't/wouldn't be taken lightly - yes it's not perfect but there's not much better of an option, if you don't add anyone you get nowhere if you add too many it becomes to public...

You gotta aim for a good group of people that value it enough not to spread the information that's being offered...
