Obama needs some foreign policy "achievement" (if you can call this deal that) because he came into office 6 years ago riding on the waves of foreign policy utopia and now he's on his way out and he's accomplished nothing and bungled everything. So cut him some slack as he's "got our back" (though he's failed to mention what he's got in our back-a knife or other sharp object is most likely).

I'm having trouble finding details of the deal.  I'm not sure how to decide if I like it or not without the details...

Well the most important issue of all, unfettered access to all suspected nuclear sites, is a no go, regardless of exact details. This means that we are in effect trusting them to abide by their word.

Obama needs some foreign policy "achievement"
But if in 10 years Iran has the bomb, everyone will blame Obama. So that argument is ridiculous.

Now the question is. is this a good deal.

From the aforementioned article "Diplomats also came up with unusual procedure to “snap back” the sanctions against Iran if an eight-member panel determines that Tehran is violating the nuclear provisions.

The members of the panel are Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia, the United States, the European Union and Iran itself.

A majority vote is required, meaning that Russia, China and Iran could not collectively block action."
Is this a joke?  Iran has a vote on their own sanctions?

Both. For Israel it's obvious so i assume you're asking about the US.
It is furthering alienating regimes in the area that ate more friendly to American interests.  Makes US look weak and naive in foreign policy and it will embolden or enemies especially Iran. It will allow Iran to gain even greater influence in the weaker nations in the region. ...
