Croatia is a country - there's a ton of different ways to approach it. If you don't want to go on a long hike, you don't have to
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

I haven't done Slovenia, but some parts look really nice. In Croatia, depends what you say is a must see - the hard part is that Plitvice is far from the other spots. You can look into if there's some nice coastal/island spots closer than Split, such as Zadar.

Speak to the Chabad Rabbi, extremely limited kosher options. There is a kosher list otherwise, but do your own research

I'd add that Zagreb isn't the best base for a Croatia trip aside for Plitvice

ZAG is not the best city to base out of for a week (especially in the summer time, when the Rabbi is usually in DBV.)
Lake Bled and Plitvice lakes are both great day trips from Zagreb.

There's no kosher food other than the 12 things in the chabad kosher list.

there might be kosher hotels in the season (august/pesach). if you're in zagreb ask Rabbi Zaklos, he might be able to arrange something

When I was there a few years ago, the Chabad rabbi from Zagreb made meals in Dubrovnik in the summer

My sister is leaving Croatia (Zagreb) tomorrow and has a Kosher toaster oven, hot plate and electric hand blender (used for just one month).
Any takers? She's not taking it with her to her next destination.
