Yeh but the phone number thing doesn't make sense that it should just be the charity ones...and besides there was no where to enter a phone number

The whole thing doesn't make sense. If amex felt something was violated they could've reversed the credits without ticketmaster refunding.

But then people would have a legitimate complaint that they only spent the money because they knew amex would give a $10 rebate. Now everyone is just back to square one. You cant really call amex and tell them you wasted 3 hours entering 50 cards into tm. lol

The whole thing makes no sense because I screwed up and bought the $5 donation on Ticketmaster but forgot to use Amex Checkout so filled out my info regularly (it was 1am and I was half-asleep), and not only did they not cancel it, but I couldn't cancel it when I asked and Amex refused to dispute it for me.

I just received an extra $1 credit on my Amex related to Ticketmaster, and the credits don't seem to have been clawed back? Is that the refund? It doesn't say anything about it?

there could still be more coming. The $5 tickets haven't been cancelled yet

it took over 2 weeks for the last ones to cancel so no reason to believe these wont get cancelled

Except that the $5 donations were a legitimate option to add on to the free movies on the lawn tickets. I don't see how they could justify canceling those.

Cause you submitted the wrong phone number!

For the record, the (Tennessee and) White Sox charities are still up and being sold...just not with Amex Express, and only orders with Amex Express are being cancelled.

2. Amex made us do it. (Ashley)

2.5 There was an issue with AMEX Express.

3. Wrong phone number supplied.

4.Many purchases, flagged as a dealer. (Ashley)

5. Simple, the email says you violated out T&C. We don't have to tell you which ones.(Noel)
