Any hotel recommendations? Is it better to say in Nice or Monaco? Deciding with Le Meridian to stay it. Seems that the one in Monaco is nicer, but might be more difficult to access the kosher restaurants.
we stayed in Hyatt was ok dont think there are any real 5 star in Nice, in Monaco there is no kosher food but you can take a 20 min train ride to Nice. some of the attractions in Monaco are closed in the winter and a full day is more than enough there.

Reviving an old thread.
Would like to go this weekend.
Anyone there recently?
Any chance there is an eiruv for shabbos?
Or is my only option ordering meals to go.

Do I need a car?

Uber and taxis are readily available.

Not sure if still relevant for your trip, I am working on one and received this link from someone with family there: https://www.consistoirenice.org/wordpress/restaurants/

JLP is very Jewish. Nice is very run down. Cannes is hate it or love it.

Just got back from 3 days in Cannes
Beautiful place, walked around in the early morning and late evening (meetings all day), according to locals - it's a different place in the summer....

I davened at the Synagogue Consistoriale de Cannes : https://www.grandesynagoguedecannes.fr/ the website times are accurate. Nusach Eidot Hamizrah

Restaurants/shops
Used a combo of this: https://www.consistoirenice.org/wordpress/restaurants/ and https://www.habadcannes.com/templates/articlecco_cdo/aid/3731065/jewish/Infos-in-English.htm

It's off season, some are closed or only open on Thursday/Friday for catering, a bit of a challenge to work out what was open, but all were within 8 minutes from my hotel so it was a nice walk and challenge.

Robin's - ate there and also ordered via Uber eats - poke bowls, sandwiches - simple but good for a light/mid day meal

Dinner at MÖYE - fine dining, good service, pricy, located on the beachfront:

Dinner 2nd night at OKLM (across from Grocery/Butcher Cannes Cacher)

Some places opened later in the day (I needed a bakery/place for breakfast, nothing before 10am) and have a long afternoon break
Le Tovel was open but had a private event

Is there a reason this thread is so sparse? Considering a trip to south of France but comparing this thread to other Europe threads is making me nervous.

I wondered the same last summer. We ended up staying in Cannes for Shabbos.
I’m not sure why there’s so little info. We definitely weren’t the only frum people there... I can try to help if you have any questions

Thanks. Do you recommend it for a 4- day vacation coming from the U.S., or is it mediocre?

We were there last year as well.  I think 4 days is doable. Enough time to see Cannes, Nice, St Tropez and perhaps Monaco too…

Great trip! Highly recommended!

TLDR

Stayed: Park Hyatt - awesome

Evening 1:

Louvre - boring  :)
Eiffel Tower - elevator to top - Awesome view, we enjoyed
Dinner at Bassar (glatt) - I liked, wife didn't

Day 2:

Le XXV: Brunch - solid
Walked around
Segway Tour
Dinner: La Lebanaise (glatt) - phenomenal desserts - profiteroles are a must

Day 3:

The reserve - breakfast - eh
Walking tour with a local around Monmartre - fun and informative
Lunch: marceau Cafe - great
Musee Rodin - Pretty
Dinner: Darjeeling (glatt) - very solid , HBK Grill (also solid)

Morning 4:
walked around PH area, Galeries Lafayette rooftop, flew to NCE

Nice! NCE trip/restaurant report?

Nice! NCE trip/restaurant report?

Might be the wrong thread, but because you asked so NICEly...  ;)

Landed in NCE - rented car with WiseCars (sent me to Budget)
Stayed: Airbnb in Nice near Old City

Day 1:

Lunch:
Spouse - Le Kineret (take out vibe) - solid food, great pastries - HOT TAKE: Le Kinneret sells the best Macarons
Myself - Lechem Chamayim (Pizza in Chabad house) - solid

Toured Old Nice + Open air market (vendors selling handcrafted knickknacks)
Beaches/Promenade

Dinner: Le Leviathan - not bad

Day 2:

Breakfast: pastries from Le Kinnerent (great!)
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild - AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL (Fun fact: we saw Bezos' yachts on the water)
Drove to Eze - pretty but tourist trappy... they charge 7 EUR pp to access the main view point.

Day 3:

Monaco: We didnt make it in the palace but both Monaco and the Old City were very pretty.
Dinner: Near Berbeche Azure in JLP - I would recommend.
Stayed: AirBnb in Antibes

Day 4:
Breakfast at KOZY in JLP
Swimming in the Mediterranean Sea
Tried to go to Chagall Museum but it closes from 12-2

Flight via CDG to EWR
