Why do both of them neither say "a graphic designer" nor "graphics designers?" (That's grammar, not graphics.)
It's standard for help wanted ads. It's still from the old days, when there was a focus on cutting words to save money. "Seeking graphic designer" (well, not a graphic designer back then, but you get the point.)
