This reminds me of the joke form Avrum Mordchai Malech:
Once a meshilech from Israel was in Lakewood and after a long morning of going around for tzedakah, he was very thirsty.
He goes in to the first shul he bumps in to and it was a litvish shul, he asks the first person if he could have a coffee and the litvak starts telling that he can't answer this since it's nechsei tzibur it does not belong only to him, he'll have to go around ask everyone of he could take a coffee, and even if he does so maybe someone is punkt not here, etc.
So he just leaves the shul and he sees right across the street a chasidishe shul, he goes in and asks the first person if he could take a coffee, and the chasidishe guy responds of course it's nechsei tzibur take whatever you need!
So if a coffee helps you learn or it just makes it geshmaker, please drink one and if it spills then clean it up and if you are nice enough put the worth of the sefer that got damaged in the shuls pushka
