I'm a pretty liberal Jew and I respect this quite a bit.  It's no different than providing a uniform to waiters in a catering business.   You are allowed to have a dress code in your home and it's honorable to cover the cost of your help's uniform. 

Although, like @Dan, I still don't understand why there are no pockets.

And I should add, that if "Preserving the Kedusha of your Home" is the goal, then presumably the bal habayis is paying social security, and appropriate taxes and paperwork for the help.  Using an illegal and not paying uncle sam is probably less kadosh than seeing a little elbow.

Last I checked it's not up to me to make sure my fully legal cleaning lady pays her taxes, I pay taxes on my income and presumable she does too. Yet it is up to me that I don't have someone in my house every day (which my kids eventually get to know) that isn't dressed up to my standards, and if there's an easy way I can fix it without offending her, I'll be more than happy to do it!

But if you're gonna go ahead and call anybody that assumes that cleaning ladies steal - a bigot, since they're generalizing, you're doing the same thing by generalizing the "we" too...
