Ignorance should not be confused with stupidity (though at least one of the images did that as well).

(Does Canada having a unified currency qualify as something everyone should know or be able to assume?)

How many countries do you know of that have different currencies in different areas. I don't know of any (I think some have a different currency for foreign trade, but that isn't what we're talking about here).

Cuba has different currencies for the same area.

Like the guy who worked in the bank and someone tried depositing cash from the app?
Those apps are programmed to read account and routing numbers and reject the deposit of it doesn't look like a check.
So that story probably never happened...

Doesn’t say he was from BC. But also the way Canada operates with different official languages depending on the areas can make someone question the currency.
