just a few short years ago (2005/6ish) my brothers and I would drive NYC area - Chicago without a gps or phone. We had maps in case of diversions or traffic.

It's all discussed in the video - whoever did the screengrab just pulled the image too soon (in the next few seconds after he discusses 50 and 60).
