Oiy va voy.  This much travel in that short of time while actually trying to see stuff makes me want to cry for you  :'( especially the part of only having an hour in Versailles! :)

Thanks for cranking out a great TR, tho!

That's truly unfortunate.

Oftentimes being able to meet and interact with the locals over shabbas, like for meals and such, are the highlights of international trips.

I found Matt to be excellent to. Probably the best way to see the changing of the guard.
True, we went to quite a few place in a short amount of time. The reason I decided to go for it was due to a lack of things to do in those cities in Spain. We didn't feel rushed or like we missed out on things in any of the Spanish cities we visited. Have you been to any of them? While I'm sure people stay longer, we're not huge art museum people and there seemed to be lots of those which we skipped.

It really was unfortunate that we only had 1:15 in Versailles. We really wanted more like 2-3 hours or longer. That was partially my fault for booking a tour and partially unavoidable due to heavy traffic.

I also love spending shabbos with random people around the world, and like you, it's often one of the highlights of our trips.

I'm glad you enjoyed though.

I am being a little lazy, and promise (b'n) that I will search later, but can someone say more or point me to specifics about "Matt" in London? We will be there in 3 weeks. Thanks!

AWESOME! What a great read with great pics! Can't believe how fast you wrote it. Sheesh.

I can't believe you got your HP Tour pics out before me, now my duplicates will look silly on DDF. :P Hogwarts Express was NOT on display when we went. At least we saw the one in Orlando. Cool that you knew to go to King's Cross for 9 3/4 - besides for doing my trip research on DDF, I really should check out other sources. (Something I noticed also in your Spain/Paris coverage - you got to a bunch of cool places not discussed here.)

I probably had a lot more to say as I was reading along the last few days, but I can't remember everything lol. All I know is that boy this made me miss Europe. Glad you had sweet flights, nice hotels and a great time!

Thanks!! With 1700+ pics I just chose a handful I thought were good and not already posted 100x over on DDF.

Thanks! You know I write these things on the flight back, it's just that my flights back from Europe are longer than yours so I have more time.  :D

You're HP pictures won't be duplicates any more than my Spain pics were duplicates (although I did try to avoid posting exact duplicates). The Hogwarts Express is new as of March 2015, so that was cool. They even have an area across the room from the train with open train-car-insides where you can sit down and "experience" a ride while looking out of a "window" (aka a screen) similar to what they have in FL.

Of course I look elsewhere besides DDF when planning a trip! You should, too (which you are kind of with the HI revealed series). How many DDFers are interested in Opera halls? None that I know of (based on TRs). But now that I've written about them they'll be known here for those who don't do other research before a trip.

Thank you for all your help and your Spain TRs! They really helped a lot.

Glad you enjoyed! That's what a 10:15 flight gives you time to do.

1700 pics!!! OMG - I am so not a photographer lol. I don't think I came close to that on a 6 week trip let alone your 2 week trip!

My pleasure. Good point about duplicate pics, but I don't really mind seeing the same pics so long after someone else writes a TR. Could be just me.
Cool to know about the train. Was about to say they have that in Orlando, and then saw you wrote that :)
HI Revealed has definitely shown me a few things I haven't read in TRs, so that should be nice. I would have loved to see that theater, though! :)

The Sydney Opera house is a the most famous opera house in the world. If anyone went to Sydney and didn't visit it they'd be crazy. Teatro Colon in BsAs, Teatro Municipal in Rio, and Palais Garnier are a little less known.

Amazing TR!!

Thanks! I don't use any special camera, just a P&S. FWIW the pictures are a combination of my HTC M8 and a Canon PowerShot SX280 with a non-removable lens.

Others too

YES! Some people should follow your lead on fast TR's.  ::)

But in all honesty, it is tough and takes a lot of work. Even more impressed in what short of a time span you put this together. Sounds like a fun adventure you 2 had. Enjoyed it a lot.

Thanks! I've found the writing TRs on the way home is the only way I can guarantee it'll get done in a timely manner. That said I work on it basically non-stop for 5 hours, so it's a bit draining by the time it's done. I'm glad you enjoyed!
