As per Dan's request.

Post deals here. Fight on the master thread. Decide if it's a good site on the Is It Worth It thread.

Gold medal flour (5lb) $1.88 when you buy five.
Sparkling ICE (18pk) $11.50 for one. Goes up to 54 cents a bottle depending on how many cases you buy.
I'm not who you think I am.

Awesome. It's probably half price in Costco though. :P
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Agreed.
That's why I predict Jet will be successful.
They gamified the shopping experience.

Anywhere else, I'm always looking to remove things from my order.
With Jet I just wanna keep adding and adding.

I can't figure it out. Some items are cheaper the more you get, and some are more expensive! Even by those which are officially "smart cart" items

I don't know why it's like that but thankfully it helps me cap how much stuff I end up buying.

My guess is it might have to do with current inventory of the cheapest retailer. Or it could be there's an incentive to add an item from the same retailer to your cart, but not much incentive to keep on adding the same item. I usually find that 1 or 2 of each item is the cheapest. I'll sometimes buy 1 of each size for the best price.

Jet needs to continue tweaking the smart cart but hopefully they don't ruin prices with that.

1 to 2 is usually a huge jump in savings but if you by three it sometimes gives you less saving per item then 2.
Its a funny algorithm sometimes

Game theory would suggest that they have to include some randomness and illogical results to prevent you from figuring out the algorithm and optimizing it. My guess would be that if you treated counterintuitive changes as red herrings and excluded them, you could figure out the rules very quickly.

I just realized that the 35 minimum for free shipping goes by the original price and not by the price after savings in cart. So even if it goes to below 35 after instant savings it will still be free shipping
