My second sentence explains why it's only to a certain extent. Your explanation only addresses why Dan/JJ do not make specific posts about Jet deals but does not address the complete removal of Jet from DDMS (Amex offers, DDMS comments).

How about I take this in another direction... I need plastic forks and spoons. Jet sells them for around $14. Is this comparable to what Costco charges?

Do you have the Amex offer of $20 of $50? Even if it's $1 or $2 more you save in the end...

No torching. Just trying to figure out why Dan never discusses Jet on the main site. There are some good deals there that could help his followers. From the comments on DDF it seems that Dan has something against Jet, although that may be made up as well.

First of all, in my opinion, Costco spoons, forks, etc. are the best I ever used. Second, I bought it from Jet because of the Amex deal. Otherwise, Costco is cheaper. I actually find Target online cheaper than a lot of jet and amazon products. Very often you get $5 gift crads as well.
