Is there any agents for Sixt in Israel? I have platinum and would like to rent with them.I think they have the best cars and don’t make a big deal with damages.

If I'm renting in Israel (probably from sixt) and forgot my cc that covers cdw, anyone know if can just give them the card # or use samsung wallet, also does credit card need to match name (ie same last name) ?

Another option is does chase overnight replacements to Israel?

Thanks

They will charge you third party insurance unless you book with an agent that has it included.

two questions: 1) where would one find an agent? 2) it seems that agent is the only way to go if I don't want to pay for third party insurance. is that correct?

Noachcar.co.il is an agent that many here have used.

If I go with an agent do I need a specific credit card, or the use of an agent covers the insurance?
Do US car insurance policies usually cover international rentals?
How much is insurance, If I need to pay for that?

Booking with an agent does not mean you are not paying for third-party insurance; as far as I know, it means the price you get from the agent includes third-party insurance.

Thanks.

So basically it sounds like if you rent in Israel there are two parts to the coverage:
(1) CDW - Collision Damage Waiver (i.e. damage to the vehicle). This coverage is included when paying with many credit cards (you may need a letter with evidence of this)
(2) Damage to Third Party (TP, which is like liability insurance) is not generally covered by credit card, and is usually about $15/day. But if you get a quote from an agent (such as Noach), they'll include the cost of this coverage in the quote.

Insurance coverage by your personal auto policy in the US (if you have that) will vary, but likely won't be accepted by the rental company even with a letter.

Did I miss anything?
Are taxes/fees at the airport much more than a local pickup?
Any concerns about coverage limits on CDW/TP?
I have Ink Business Preferred, AA platinum select (world Elite), and AA CitiBusiness Select World Elite. Are any of these better than another?  Thanks.

airport fee is around 40 USD (some agents can have it partially waived)

Just to be clear:
You MUST have Israeli 3P liability insurance. It's the law. You will have it - and pay for it - regardless of the way you book.
The only difference between various agents, otas etc is if they include it in the quote they give you, or it gets added to your total at checkout.

CDW can be covered by your CC. If it is not, the rental agency will make you pay for at least the lowest level of coverage.

Agents can help for: Getting you a better deal/rate, getting a rate that only charges the insurance charge on shabbos, getting a reservation even when its zeroed out, getting a second/third driver for free, reducing the airport fee, getting additional KM on a short reservation, assistance with the paperwork if you ever have damage that needs to get claimed from your CC

I just wanted to add that when booking online, if you prepay, you will be charged for Shabbos, but if you pay at the desk, they won't charge you for Shabbos (only insurance).
so even though you get a better rate by prepaying, it could still be cheaper to pay at the desk.

Not sure which rental company you're speaking about but it's definitely not the norm.

Where you pay should not make a difference.
It's particular rates from frum agents that have the shabbos discount. (Which BTW is obviously not valid if the car is driven on shabbos).
You must have booked through one of these agents when you paid at the desk...

(There's absolutely no reason for the desk agent to leave money on the table by giving a discount because the customer appears like a religious jew.)

Well in my experience when booking online, I asked at the desk if they could not charge me for shabbos so they subtracted the shabbosim.
My experience was with hertz at Ben gurion I did it a couple of times it always worked
The only time it didn't work was when I prepaid they said that they can't refund me for that.
