Is it worth a trip to go there for a few days from Montreal? Any kosher food options?

Besides for some kosher products in the supermarket there ain't much else.

Resurrection time:

I know there's not much kosher food in YQB, but that isn't much of a deterrent for me. From my research the best points hotel is the Hotel Pur (an SPG property) for 4k/night (Cat 2). It's a 25 minute walk from Vieux (Old) Quebec in the Saint Roch neighborhood. There's a Fairmount in Old Quebec, though I don't have and free nights there. Hilton is 50k/night and is the next closest to Old Quebec, while Marriott is 40k/night for a location right nearby. Hyatt doesn't have any properties in YQB.

Am I missing something? Is it worth using ~12k UR to book a nice hotel though Chase right in the center of Old Quebec or is 4k SPG a better deal albeit slightly farther away?

This is for a 1 night stay during Chol HaMoed succos.

There is tons to do in Montreal and nearby. That being said Quebec City is supposed to be really nice so I'm sure you'll enjoy if you go.

We were in Montreal 2 years ago at the same time and had a great time. Now it's time to check out Quebec City, though we'll obviously be giving up the kosher restaurants. I assume you've never been?

Yes SUPER worth it, Quebec city has a French atmospheres feel.

Was just in Quebec city for one day, the infrastructure, horses allyways all had a French ambience.
