Hi, I will be needing a car rental in Kauai from July 31st through August 7th. What would be the cheapest car rental for this trip? Thanks!

I've found that they're rather expensive in Kauai (more so than Maui).  What kind of car are you looking for?

Honestly, just the cheapest I can get.

Considering that Dollar is having a convertibles special @ 275.99/week, that will probably be cheapest.  It will give you a base rate of 275 + 100 in taxes/fees = 375 for the week.  Seems like everywhere else will have a significantly more expensive base rate, and more expensive overall.

For a friend. . .

Pickup and return to FLL

Primary driver is over 25. Additional driver is 21-24

The best rates so far are (rate includes taxes but additional driver fee),
Avis $520

Hi all,

Looking for a rental at OGG pickup 7/31 6 PM, drop-off OGG 8/6 11 AM.
Lowest so far is $267 with taxes and fees from National with a coupon and corporate code for a Standard.

Would love a convertible. Lowest rate I'm seeing is $456.
(Would REALLY love a convertible with a manual for that drive to Hana)

Any tips?
