This thread is designated to help members find the best available rate for their car rental. As with all things if you don't want to help yourself others will not help you. It is always best that you do some research with each individual company before asking for help.

All companies have corporate discounts that lower standard internet rates here is a roundup of them.

hertz brazil with USAA corporate # 77694 is by far the cheapest $125 for a compact car and $152 for a full size incl. taxes and fees

I expect more than that from u
its been discussed for quite some time that in the upper left hand corner of the Hertz site u can change the country site and language which can generate a better rate

Well, then perhaps I can manage your expectations a bit better: I know next to nothing about the rental car space.

EDIT: Got it to work. As quoted above its $125/week for compact compared to $326 on Kayak for compact. Amazing. Thanks!

Do I need to be concerned when using the USAA Corp code?

a little search was all i meant as in all other threads but i guess i'm guilty of that to
as for usaa ime if u have a usaa debit card it works but i made a res. for s/o out of phl and he was asked for id which he didnt have

In general id agree with you, moko, but in this case I will just say that I understand what AJK means that he doesn't kno even though we spoke about it more than plenty and thats because he never has the need for a car so he prob never opens this thread.
Like by me there are a few things on this forum I don't have the first clue about and if i ask it sounds like I just didn't make a thorough search, but no.  It's because I never opened the thread to read bec it never applies to me (even though it is a bit annoying to repeat answering everyone that asks that question!)

Well it only happened to me twice and that was when I was trying to get on as a second driver for free since any usaa member can drive if another member rents but insurance wise I wanted to be on contract so i had to prove I was a member but i dont think they care if ur actually military (don't really know what makes u an employee of USAA)

I just rented from Hertz @ JFK under USAA and they did ask me for ID so I showed them my confirmation email from USAA after signing up online...
