This thread is designated to help members find the best available rate for their car rental. As with all things if you don't want to help yourself others will not help you. It is always best that you do some research with each individual company before asking for help.

@samkey have you ever had any experience with a rep paul at jfk? (He was there during the night shift when I rented) complete pig, by far the worst rep I ever had with hertz! He made us wait for over an hour for a car at 3 am! Do you know where I can email to bad mouth him? I already sent a message to hertz via Twitter and they gave me the day free.

In my haste, I tried booking a car on priceline and I forgot to specify a different return airport.

I think it's booked to be returned at EWR instead of JFK.

Is that considered a different airport? Will they charge me more to return to JFK?

No just tell them at the counter and if they refuse (which I doubt it) call up to change return location. what company?

Called National.

Someone on the phone told me it wouldnt be an extra charge to return it to JFK. Their verbal confirmation is good enough for me!

Got it for $31 all in.

Interesting I was there last Sunday night like 12ish and there was a very nice Spanish guy didn't hook me up major but sympathized enough not to downgrade me to the class that was on my reservation and gave me a fully loaded mini van. I'm in middle of working on bad mouthing the reg manager at Newark she's a real pain and anti-Semite. 2nd time had trouble with her. Usually I just call up the gold office and complain and they compensate don't get compensated so easily and have in mind what you want to get from them.

for the convertible best i could see is 360 and the smallest about the same by all; 160 range. might be worth giving priceline a try

How many seater? All locations seem to be closed on sunday the best i see is a cadilac srx or infinity fx or jx for 440 @hertz airport
