I have been trying to use southwest points to book a one way from MCO to FLL on their website. They claim their system can only make same location reservations. I asked for it in writing and they said they don't have anything. I have been transferred again and again with no use. I called dollar who said it was fine to make a one way rental however I needed to speak to SW since it is a point reservation. They suggested I make a same location reservation and when I pick up the car  I could speak with someone their at MCO who possibly can change the reservation to a one way with a possible fee.  SW does not refund any used points and if MCO decides not to change the reservation I will be up the creek.
Any suggestions on what to do?

Most hle locations have night drop off, meaning you can just drop off the car while they are closed and they still process the reservation when they open
