i for 1 can't
i even find different cars available at the same loc. based on which country u use
when i use usa mostly all cars are available but when i use south africa only a few are available the rest are sold out

My guess is that it is something along these lines: They offer you a cheaper rate if you are coming in from a different country based on a formula which they use (they may want more business from that country, or they find that they end up making up the money in other ways with travelers from that specific country). In general I know from my own and others' past experience, that rental companies charge lest if you are coming from out of the country (maybe hoping that you will use it again).

Why would they want more customers from x country?

Why would they 'hope I'll use them again' only if I come from out of the country?

Landing in Fort Lauderdale on January 19th and driving to Miami. Return flight from Fort Lauderdale on the 26th. We are looking to rent a mini van. Basically looking for the cheapest rental (who isn't!

Please let me know if there is a certain credit/charge card to help on the deal?
