I am looking to rent a car for an 18 year old for 2 weeks in July. She is a USAA member. We live in Brooklyn but can pick up in NJ or anywhere within a reasonable drive. If would appreciate if anyone has any ideas or tips.

Hello
I am a beginner in the credit cards, mileage, and points world and to the forums and would like to learn as much as possible so I would really appreciate your help in advice

At the moment I am looking to rent a car monthly. I am a hertz gold member and have rented a couple times in the past. As I was advised then to get a AAA membership (membership has since expired), and used the AAA code and then for the Promotional Code I Used Hertz's standard Monthly discount code.

This was a while ago so I am trying to find out if these codes are still in use by people, And generally what are the best codes to use for the largest discount on monthly rentals Im not looking for anything fancy.
I am trying to rent long term so if anyone knows of any one that rents out cars
with insurance in the ny tristate area that would helpful as well

I really appreciate all help
Thank you

AAA has a decent discount.
Depending on the season there are different options that would be best, for example a CV (Ie 022L5102) code can do wonders during High season

Thanks for the response!
Couple questions Can a CV be used when already using a Discount code (ie AAA or USAA and a PC
Is Hertz the best option when looking for cheapest prices, Is using a AAA code better than USAA
And is there a cut off point to how far back one should generally read from in the forums on a particular topic? I feel like if you start from to far back you will be reading info and tips that are now not applicable or irrelevant

Thank you

$346 from Hertz with CV 022L5102
Thanks for your response. Somehow I cannot come up with that quote. It came out in the 400s using that cv. I got for 385 using usaa and cv 052e0002.
