For those that got error msg...this is what the answered me in an email:

Our records show that when attempting to verify your email address with MyPoints, you are getting an "Internal Request Error" message. This error message occurs if a member is attempting to verify their email address from a non-US or non-Canadian IP address. The MyPoints program is only available to residents of the United States, United States Territories and Canada. We opted to restrict our membership qualifications due to the unsatisfactory number of offers available in other countries. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
