So when asked in an airport if you packed the luggage and you answer no, what happens? (Specifically asking Ben Gurion, but can answer for all airports as well)

Any way to confirm that? It's not illegal, and I can't be denied boarding can I?

If they decide you're a security risk they can deny boarding.

Was once going elal(JFK),  my friend said he's taking a luggage for someone, which was true (think he didn't want to take responsibility....), they did very thorough search on it, then let him check it.

They can deny you boarding for not leaving ample time if you're delayed by it.
