Interesting, was $2 when I ordered.
Maybe call and ask why it went up?

thanks, called & done last Friday.. I see SF posted below that shipping is $2 now.. maybe because I called a supervisor & explained how silly it is to pay $6 for shipping for a $6 item.

Please note that the Wide Mouth Straw Lid is not leak proof.

Any thoughts / opinions on this?

It's for herself and I figured Dan would be proud to see that she made a great call on it.  :P

Hydro Flasks are on sale at REI now - the 40oz is $34 +$6 shipping (ship to store is free). Not quite a very amazing deal, but still a bit cheaper than Amazon at the moment.

They also have the straw cap for $5.49.

https://www.rei.com/s/deals?r=brand%3Ahydro-flask&ir=collection%3Adeals&page=1&rank=rank-deals-focus

If anyone happens to be ordering, please PM me - I need a straw cap and we could save on shipping.

Yes.
If I leave water in it overnight sometimes I'll come in the morning and it kind of "overflows" a little.

Also, often I'll try to drink from it and get nothing but air, I need to re-position the mouthpiece (or whatever it's called) to get it to work.

I just noticed the straw lid on Prime for the first time... Not the cheapest at $8.17, but not terrible considering its Achilles heel has always been shipping.

https://www.amazon.com/Hydro-Flask-Mouth-Straw-Black/dp/B00DMIEZEO/

Also, it seems that they redesigned the regular caps. Anyone have both and could compare the two?

ETA: $7.47 here, but I'm getting the feeling it's not the real thing for some reason.

Would the hydro flask work with hot drinks? Looking for something that has a straw so I can drink and drive.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.
