Sure, they are both very different parks. The zoo is supposedly very good, safari more unique.

If u have time sure why not. The safari tour is fun and is the main attraction of the park, although they do have some other animals and exhibits but not as many compared to the zoo. If it came down to one over the other I'd always pick the zoo. Kids will have fun at both. Note the wild animal park is 40-50 min away from the downtown zoo.

The safari park is the breeding grounds for the zoo. You don't need to pay for any of the extra safari tours, but it's nice to be able to see the animals close up. Don't miss the cheetah run!!

Personally I've been to the zoo and hated it. Maybe that's just me. It was huge, and long hilly distances between exhibits. Other than the panda exhibit, I found it to be pretty much a regular zoo.
