nexus 9 making weried sounds

I sold a nexus 9 on ebay the buyer is complaining that there is a weird beeping sound when s/he plays videos.

they have updated the OS
done a factory reset
made sure that nfc and bluetooth are off

IF anyone know what the issue is and/or how to solve it please let me know

Also while playing any video on the tablet the beep sound keeps on coming. I am not sure what is the issue and request you kindly let me know what needs to be done.
