if I wanted to shut down I hit Start -> Right -> Right -> Enter; in W10 it is Start -> Up -> Up -> Enter -> Up -> Up -> Enter. It feels like entering cheat codes in Nintendo

Start up screen is awful too. Why do I have to click or type before the password screen appears???
Alt-F4 will bring up shut-down window.

Thanks. The Alt F4 only works when desktop is actuve, not any other windows, but it is a better option.

Still many other nuisances. The "create new folder" button is gone from windows explorer, and the Date/Time is FUBAR.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I have it right there on the home tab as well as an icon in the quick access ribbon on the top which was there by default.

Parental controls were removed from windows 10
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

It's possible but I don't know of any

It's not the same as when it's built into Windows

That's what everyone is screaming especially without telling you that all family safety settings are gone when you upgrade

If we yell loud enough we should get 10.1 soon enough. Just like 8.1

ETA: Microsoft is really not too concerned about the few consumers who want child safety settings its an insignificant percentage of users
