For a Surface Pro 3 tablet, is it worth the upgrade? Call me shallow, but what turns me off most is all the rumors about Microsoft supposedly being able to detect and block torrents/"downloaded content"... :P

It's BS. They can't search your hard drive. At most they can see which .exe's you run because of smart screen, but you can disable that.

There are plenty of sites telling you which settings to turn off if you're really nervous.

Thank you for the tip. I already reverted to Win7 and haven't regretted it for a second. All my problems are solved except for the date/time being wrong every time I start up. My computer will be dead before Win7 stops being supported so I have no plans to go back.

I'm currently using a Dell Inspiron 15R and I've been a little tentative to upgrade because I heard that Windows hasn't gotten out all of the important drivers for Dells yet. Does anyone know if that is accurate? Thanks.

is there a way to change the touchpad so that when i 2 finger swipe down on a page the page scrolls down instead of up?
a windows 10 update causes the computer to not pick up any wifi signals. what the flip is up with that? how do i fix that?

go to touchpad settings, its there
download new drivers for wifi adapter. and make sure you're not in airplane mode

Seemingly very big update yesterday/today for windows 10.

DON'T UPDATE UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD NO COMPUTER FOR TWO HOURS!!!

It looked almost like when I upgraded from windows 8.1 to 10. It had to save my files settings etc. It restarted several times throughout the process. I'm very not happy now. Slow and not performing well. Please share your experiences.
