Transferring/Receiving Ultimate Rewards points to/from ineligible receivers.
You can only transfer or receive Chase Ultimate Rewards points between spouses/domestic partners or between co-business owners on a business card. Transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to others Chase Ultimate Rewards accounts may result in both the sender and the recipient’s cards being closed. You can however safely transfer points directly to an additional user’s airline/hotel mileage account.

When booking a Delta flight through UR, will I get the benefits of my delta cc if I pay a few dollars with that card (free luggage ect.)?
Also, will I be covered by the CSR for travel protection?

Yes, you don't need to pay anything with DL. All benefits of the card are applied as long as your FFN is on the reservation.

Also, will I be covered by the CSR for travel protection?
Reference my above answer and pay for part with CSR instead.

Is that the only way to get the benefits? Or are the points itself enough to give the protection?

I'm not sure. I also am not sure booking only part would be enough, but I believe so. I'll let someone else chime in here.

Booked a non refundable American Airlines flight with UR points, and now want to change to different flight time (after 24 hours). Rep said will cost $200 a ticket. Any way to get around this? Tried calling American direct and said they can’t do anything as it wasn’t booked with them..

If it's an option, you can probably wait to within 24 hours of the flight and do Standby to an earlier flight time. If you want a later flight using standby gets more complex.

You can use any card.

Be aware that your charge goes to Chase and Chase uses their own card to pay for the hotel/flight.

Not sure what ramifications this would have on travel insurance but it does negate the free checked bag benefit on the United CC.
I can confirm this will negate the free checked bag benefit. However you may be able to find an agent to waive the fee YMMV. The Contracted Agents in EWR weren't helpful and actually quite clueless.

It’s actually an earlier flight. Do you know if the $75 standby fee would apply to a UR booked ticket?

Is anyone else having trouble transferring to travel partners? When I tried online it said to call, and the agent said it's not working for anyone because of a recent update to their system.

In the past whenever I met the spend threshold for the sign up bonus the bonus points would show by "points earned for next statement" - I have already spent enough on the business unlimited but I do not see the points posting. Should I be concerned?

Quick question yet nuances so please read it fully.

I am the card holder with UR points attached to my CSR. I want to transfer some of my UR points to my father's United Mileage Plus account. In the portal I see i can only a) transfer to an account with my name on it and b) i am led to believe that the UA MP number i put in there will not be able to be changed ever. I see they mention that making a relative or the like an authorized user will allow me to transfer to them.

QUESTION - Short of making my father an authorized user (which i assume means additional cardholder at $75 a year) on my CSR is there a way to transfer directly to his account now, as a one off, and in the future transfer to my MP account?

Note - i have never transferred anything out to date.

Not sure if its been posted anywhere (searched, couldn't find) but I see that Chase has added Apple to their UR website...you can buy Apple products with UR points. Terrible redemption value, at only 1 cpp, but its an option.
